Note To Self: Stop Talking To Me!

I don't know about you, but there sure is a lot of noise going on inside my head, complete with background music. There's always a non-stop dialog of to-do lists, worries, plans, replays of conversations, and whatever else decides to pop into my mind. And all this is accompanied by songs, sometimes even songs that I don't like. That stuff sure makes a lot of racket and it never seems to want to shut up.

In order to be open to communicating with animals telepathically, you need to silence the inner chit-chat and make the world go away for a bit.

If you're a Buddhist monk, proficient at meditation, or already have your own good method, then this will be no problem. If not, try this:

Find a quiet spot where you won't be disturbed by anything or anyone.
Make sure both your nasal passages are cleared.
Be seated in an upright position, preferably in a straight back chair.
Close your eyes and take 3 slow, deep breaths in and out.
Place the middle finger of your left hand over your left nostril and take a slow deep breath in through your right nostril.
Then place that same finger over your right nostril and slowly breath out through your left nostril.
Note: If it's more comfortable to breath in with the left nostril and out through the right, then do that.
Continue breathing in through one nostril, taking a slow deep breath, then breathing out through the other nostril.
While you're doing this, with your eyes still closed, focus on the spot between your eyes in the middle of your forehead. What you should be seeing is a black, blank screen. This blank screen is where you will be receiving images during your telepathic communications with animals.

It usually takes me only about 5 times of breathing in and out alternately between nostrils to quiet things down in my head and focus on the blank screen.
If a thought or voice comes through, just acknowledge it and then let it go.
Repeat this alternate breathing 10 times.

Then when you're finished you can open your eyes.

You might feel a little dizzy or spaced out, but that's normal and the feeling will pass quickly.

Practice doing this at least once a day, for a week. At the end of a week, you will most probably be able to turn off the chatter and thoughts in your mind, but if not, don't give up; just keep trying.

By doing this exercise on a daily basis, you will not only be practicing being able to open your mind to telepathic communications from animals, but you will also be giving yourself a few minutes of mental peace every day, and training your body to relax when you ask it to.
