Lookin' Good In Custom Made Bandannas By Faeriegood On Etsy!

Last weekend found Richie, Melissa, myself and our 10 huskies walking the hiking paths at the forest instead of chancing the dogs being injured by running on the icy trails.

This was made much better by the fact that each dog now has his or her own customized bandanna, made with love, and gifted to us by our friend, Carol.  Since our guys have to share most things, they were especially happy to get something that's theirs alone.  Here they are resting on the drop chains after their walks,  modeling their awesome new threads!  (Drop chains are how we secure our dogs at the forest for short periods when they come out of the van.  Otherwise, our dogs are never chained. We also use recycled fire hose to protect the trees from being chafed.)

As you can see, everyone looks quite pleased, especially knowing that, "I Run Faster Because Mom Loves Me Best" which is the legend embroidered on each and every bandanna.

A couple from Russia was visiting the area and came over to take some photos of the dogs too.  Can you tell K.C. and Hamm know what a camera is for?

We are all so very grateful to Auntie Carol for making these beautiful bandannas for us, out of cotton batik fabric no less, which is one of my absolute favorites!

If you can think of it, Carol can make it! Below is a sampling of goodies from her shop, Faeriegood on Etsy.

Before retiring, Carol also trained and ran a team of rescued Siberian huskies and Malamutes. Here's one of her beautiful dogs, an Alaskan Malamute named Arielle, who happens to be our Sky's favorite.  Isn't she beautiful?  She and her handsome Siberian husky companion, Foley, are the canine models for Carol's shop.

...and here's a picture of Carol herself, aka "Little Otter Woman"

Many furry hugs and sloppy kisses to you, Little Otter Woman!
