Becoming Dr. Dolittle (Post transfer from old blog)

Webster's Dictionary defines telepathy as "apparent communication from one mind to another by extrasensory means", and defines extrasensory as "not acting As with any goal, the first step in learning to talk with animals is to decide that you really and truly want to do so. Then say it out loud, and say it often, because words have power!

By speaking the words, "I am going to learn to talk with the animals", and meaning them with all your heart, you are opening the gate to the path of manifestation. It doesn't make any difference if you have doubts about your abilities. If you tell yourself over and over again that you can do something, your subconscious, which is very open to either negative or positive suggestions, will start to believe it.

We all know of people who have reached for the stars and achieved their "impossible" dream against all odds. What has made them successful is a compelling desire, total commitment, and the ability to stay focused on achieving their goal no matter what.

You may or may not want to tell your family, friends, and the whole world about your decision. Some people realize their dreams with the help of others, some do it in spite of others. Whether you choose to tell other people or not doesn't matter. What's important is that you are sending your wish out into the Universe, and that's when opportunities arise and help starts to appear in the most unexpected and magical ways.or occurring through the known senses".
But actually, we do know about these senses. We call then by such names as intuition, inner knowing, hunch, gut feeling, and higher self.

Have you ever finished your spouse's sentence? Felt a person's dislike for you even though they were smiling? Had an uneasy feeling about something or someone for no apparent reason? Sensed a friend was upset although they denied it? Known who was calling on the phone before picking it up? Realized something about a person without them telling you? Entered a room full of people and picked up their anger or happiness?

These are just a few examples of telepathy at work. And even if you have never had any of these experiences, rest assured your telepathic abilities are still intact and only need to be developed!
