We are finally waving goodbye to winter - it sure seemed a long one, even to us lovers of all things cold!
As soon as the ice thawed, we started working outdoors before it gets too hot and I've already got poison ivy once!
Our newest addition, Diamond, has grown from a little bit of a thing...
into a fairly good sized teenager.
On a sad note, the loss of our beautiful K.C. in November of last year and then shockingly, her daughter Bella this January has made this a tough period for us all and we weren't able to mush this season even once because right after we said goodbye to our beloved friends, Mick was diagnosed with anaplasma and Sundance with lymes. So by the time they finished their treatments, it was too late.
. It's not easy knowing we have three more dogs approaching age 14 who may not be with us much longer either. However, we've been blessed in being able to keep all of the dogs we've bred and they've given us wonderful memories along with love that will stay in our hearts forever!
“Is the spring coming?" he said. "What is it like?"...
